"Winter must be cold for those with no warm memories."

Winter is one of those things I really love. Those lovely cold winter days when the temperature is -20°C,  the sun is shining and everything glistens. Although, besides the beauty of nature, the photographing conditions aren't the best when every part of your body starts to freeze and go numb. :--D
For once I had time to go out and take some photos while there was light out, so here's some photos from the weekend.

Unreleased photos II

These photos were taken at Midsummer. I wanted to get up early and watch the sunrise some day so I did. Too bad I ended up getting up a bit too early so I had to wait an hour or so before the sun actually came up. On the other hand it was quite nice to watch the clouds move and shift away from the horizon and the sun finally rising behind the trees.

2014

“I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.

Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You're doing things you've never done before, and more importantly, you're Doing Something.

So that's my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody's ever made before. Don't freeze, don't stop, don't worry that it isn't good enough, or it isn't perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life.

Whatever it is you're scared of doing, Do it.

Make your mistakes, next year and forever.”
